⚠️ Increase in the risk of endometrium cancer if a progestogen is not associated (or progestin is not an ally when you have a meningioma, on the contrary!) ⚠️
“Taking a HRT based on estrogen alone will increase the risk of exaggerated development of the uterine lining (endometrial hyperplasia) and the uterine lining cancer (cancer of endometrium). ”

⚠️ Increase in the risk of breast cancer ⚠️
“The data suggest that taking an ESTRO-PROGE-PROGESTIVE combined HRT and possibly based on estrogen alone increases the risk of breast cancer. This additional risk depends on the duration of taking this. This additional risk becomes obvious after several years. However, it comes back to normal in a few years (maximum 5 years) after stopping treatment.”

⚠️ Increase in the risk of ovarian cancer ⚠️

“Ovary cancer is rare (much rarer than breast cancer). The use of HOs by estrogen alone or by an estrogen and progestogy combination has been associated with a slight increase in the risk of ovarian cancer. The risk of ovarian cancer varies depending on age.

In all cases, other risks are associated with it, even with the combination:
◾️ “The risk of blood clots in the veins is approximately 1.3 to 3 times higher in users of HRT compared to non-users, especially during the first year of treatment.” ◾️
◾️ “The risk of having a stroke is approximately 1.5 times higher in users of HRT compared to non-users. The number of additional strokes of stroke linked to the use of HRT increases with age.” ◾️

Do not hesitate to talk about it with your doctors, if they didn't tell you or haven't arrested you!
