The president of the Bobigny court court has just ordered for the first time legal expertise against pharmaceutical laboratories marketing Lotéran and Lotényl: the Theramex laboratory and the Sanofi-Aventis France laboratory.
The court dismissed the arguments of the laboratories which opposed the expertise and appointed two experts responsible for deciding on:
- Evaluation of damages;
- The elements that these laboratories knew about the risk of meningiomas.
These two experts are completely independent of the laboratories.
This decision is a new major advance after the numerous ordered expertise against the Bayer laboratory and the laboratories marketing the generics of the Androcur drugs.
The first expertise confirm all the link between Androcur and the meningiomas.
These decisions should encourage all victims to turn to the legal path which allows you to benefit from complete expertise under the control of the judge.
