Meningioma under progestin: ANSM creates a committee to assess the risks

What if we are under progestogy?

A meningioma is a tumor of the membranes that surround the brain: the meninges . In the vast majority of cases, these tumors are not cancerous but are likely to be the cause of serious disorders and then require heavy and at risk surgery. Symptoms evocative of cerebral meningioma are: frequent headaches, vision, language or hearing disorders, dizziness, memory disorders ...
