Joëlle, 65, Lotéran and Lotényl for 4 years-1 meningioma

Joëlle, 65, Lotéran and Lotényl for 4 years-1 meningioma. I heard, a few days ago, on France Inter, a sentence with these words: " Lotéran, Lotényl and Méningiome ", pronounced at the end of a program which I could not listen to the beginning, but these three words, I knew them! ...

Here is my testimony:

During my 1st pregnancy, the gynecologist who followed me at the time, prescribed Luteran for 4 months, for 6 tablets per day (12/1980 to 03/1981).
Later, following the removal of a uterine polyp, another gynecologist ordered me lutenyl for 12 months (from 09/1999 to 08/2000). This did not prevent the formation of other polyps.
A 3rd gynecologist (the 2nd having retired) also prescribed me lutenyl 5mg for 15 months (from 12/2007 to 02/2009).
The problems were not solved by this medication since I had to undergo a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) in 03/2009.
As early as 2009, headaches appeared and, following a scanner in 11/2011, a 2 cm meningioma was discovered. This being poorly positioned, it cannot be operated on.
He was treated by gamma Knife rays, in Marseille - Timone Hospital - in 04/2012, not to remove it but to slow down its growth.
Since this treatment, I have control MRI to monitor its evolution (for the moment stable).
I had to spend an MRI in 03/2020 but it was postponed in 09/2020 following the COVID-19 epidemic.

The 3 gynecologists prescribing me these same drugs are all retired today.
No one ever told me about the correlation between these drugs and meningiomas.
I had several interventions to remove uterine polyps (so in addition, the lutenyl did not seem effective!) But if I had been informed of the risk incurred, I would not have accepted this medication. Between polyp and meningioma, there is no hesitation!

I also draw your attention to the fact that I took these drugs for less than 5 years and yet a meningioma appeared.

And now I have to live, at 65, with headaches, tinnitus, the drop in hearing and especially the daily anxiety that this meningioma grows and causes irreversible and unlivable additional lesions.
There are no words to express my dismay.
